KMC X9 Grey 9-Speed Chain

The KMC X9.73 9-speed chain is a very durable chain that is suitable for both road bikes and mountain bikes. Due to its specific design, the chain delivers good shifting performance. In addition, there is a missing link included, so you can easily install and maintain the chain.

Note:
KMC use the same boxes for the X9 chains. However, the product number BX09GG114 and barcode 4715575881324 show that this is the KMC X9 Silver chain, which was previously called the KMC X9.73 chain.

Do I need tools?

• In order to length the chain you need a chain rivet tool. You can find these here.
• To close the powerlock you will need Missing Link pliers. These can be found here.
• A chain checker will tell you when your chain is worn out so you can replace it in time. These checkers can be found here.
